Fostering Nourished Families is a training curriculum focused on supporting kinship/foster/resource parents to nourish foster children. Materials and lesson plans are appropriate for adult caregivers of foster children. Instructor Guides offered in English, participant materials available. Evaluation tools available and facilitator training required.

Garden-themed curriculum for preschools and daycare settings. Introduces children to fruits and vegetables. Hands-on activities, nutrition education and planting, stories and songs, at-home materials. 6 sets of activities; most activities take 10-15 minutes each.

Food Smarts teaches healthy nutrition and cooking skills for kids, adults and seniors to develop the skills and acquire the information that empower them to eat more fresh, whole foods and to live healthier lives. Workshops cover basic nutrition, kitchen safety, cooking skills, meal planning, label reading, media literacy.

This curriculum facilitates partnerships between medical training programs and high schools serving youth from socioeconomically disadvantaged and underrepresented communities. A “train the trainer” model is used with medical residents (and other health professional trainees) train high school students to coach family members with diabetes or other chronic illnesses. Lessons incorporate evidence-based approaches to chronic disease management, highlighting healthy eating and physical activity behaviors.

KickinNutrition.TV is an innovative, digital program designed to educate, entertain, and empower kids to make healthier food and lifestyle choices! KickinNutrition.TV features engaging videos and interactive learning tools designed for urban, inner-city youth and their families. The program utilizes comedy, hip music, and engaging research-based, peer-to-peer nutrition instruction and cooking demonstrations. The program is aligned with CC standards by grade.

This literacy-based health, nutrition, and physical activity curriculum employs a "learn by doing" approach with preschoolers. Lessons center around storybook reading and contain several activities that can be worked on as a group or individually allowing preschoolers to practice what they learned. Lesson activities align with the DRDPs.

An interactive 4-lesson curriculum that uses MyPlate and the 2015 Dietary Guidelines messaging with limited resource families. Lessons emphasize meal planning, food budgeting and healthy cooking so families can eat healthfully during pressing economic times. Virtual components available. Curriculum is free to download once training is complete.

Food Smarts is a flexible, learner-centered cooking and nutrition curriculum with materials and lesson plans appropriate for adults, including older adults. Lesson plans with different class/series lengths are available. Instructor Guides offered in English, participant materials offered in multiple languages. Included in the USDA’s SNAP-Ed Toolkit. Evaluation tools available and facilitator training required. Food Smarts Waste Reduction lessons may also be added to the Food Smarts Lessons.
